Following a successful launch in Milan last year, the bespoke Knotted Waves Blue rug from ILLULIAN’s Natural Field Collection, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and handcrafted with Himalayan wools and silks, is now on display at the Zaha Hadid Architects Gallery in London. This rug showcases the seamless integration of ILLULIAN’s craftsmanship with Zaha Hadid Architects’ design philosophy, emphasising perspective, form, and space.
The Natural Field Collection, inspired by the raw material’s journey, embodies intricate, nature-inspired networks in ZHA’s designs. The rug features bold lines and expressive curves, enhanced by premium materials: interwoven silk threads for a distinct sheen, juxtaposed with the matte finish of Himalayan wool, creating a captivating interplay of light.
