Illulian, the globally renowned Italian brand celebrated for its handcrafted and custom-made luxury rugs, takes center stage once again at Maison & Objet 2025. The company will introduce exciting new collaborations with designers—such as Elena Cutolo and Daniel Germani—and unveil the latest additions to its Essential and Palace Collections.
“We are deeply honored to participate once again in Maison & Objet this year with a prominent space showcasing 12 extraordinary rugs,” say Davis and Bendis Illulian. “This will be an exciting edition, as we present the first novelties of 2025 from our Limited Edition Collection and more. These creations allowed us to explore new worlds, revisit childhood memories, and experiment with innovative materials, like the feathers crafted by Maison Février.”
With these new products, Illulian reaffirms its commitment to research and innovation, delivering designs that seamlessly combine aesthetics, elegance, and functionality. Elena Cutolo’s rugs feature vibrant colors, original shapes, and a sense of memory, becoming narrative objects capable of evoking childhood memories. Daniel Germani presents two very different rugs: Plumaria, which merges artisanal mastery with the allure of nature, using a monochromatic palette enriched with colorful feathers by Maison Février for a unique and sensational visual and tactile experience.
Essential, as the name of the collection suggests, Dune is inspired by the sand ridges of the desert seen from above, while Stilo pays homage to ancient writing instruments. Finally, Balthazar Degradé from the Palace Collection revives the splendor of the Renaissance with a gradient background in shades of blue.
Among the rugs on display, Maru by Naoto Fukasawa stands out as an incredible success for Illulian, featured in the “Things in Themselves” exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art until April 20.
